The Goa Hiking Association has been a pioneer for Trekking & Rock climbing activities in Goa. It was founded in the year 1974. The members of the association have explored and camped in most of Goa’s inaccessible jungles & hills ( In beautiful Western Ghat Region & some parts of neighbouring states also :O )
The Goa Hiking Association offers Trekking, Rock climbing, wading, rummaging, rumbling and many more.

 

2. Youth Hostels Association of India – GOA STATE BRANCH

YHAI – GOA STATE BRANCH organizes weekly adventurous programmes to explore the beauty of Goa in the monsoon. During the downpour, they explore the hilly ghats and the gushing waterfalls. This association provides a meeting ground in the homely, healthy atmosphere of Youth Hostels.

 

3. Trekking Adventures of Goa(TAG)

The main aim of this group is to promote trekking and adventures amongst the people of Goa. They organize trekking programmes comprising of one day/overnight/3-5 days camps throughout the year. They have been organising National Himalayan Trekking Expeditions since 2015 where places like Behang, Manali, in Kullu District, Himachal Pradesh are covered with the support of “ABHIYAN TREKKERS”.

 

4. Goa Kayaking Club

Goa Kayaking Club

Goa kayaking club provides kayaking and canoeing excursions along the coast, rivers and backwaters of Goa. Operating out of Chicalim, Vasco da Gama, they run Daily Kayaking Trips throughout the year including the monsoons. This takes place in the most safe and scenic rivers of Goa – the Zuari, the Mandovi, the Sal backwaters and the Nerul river.

Goa Kayaking with Goa Sailboats now offer sailing in the Hollant and Velsao Bay area with favourable trade winds.

 

5.Goa Eco Trek

A group of trekking enthusiasts from Goa came together to form the Goa Eco Trek Group. They organise treks within Goa with the aim of exposing the lushy green side of Goa to everyone craving for a unique experience in Goa. These treks are usually a monthly affair.
